Biography : Anaitha Nair is an Indian actress known for playing the role of Aliya Bose in the sports-oriented movie Chak De India (2007), starring Shahrukh Khan. She was born in Mumbai, India, on the 19th of July, 1984. She has one sibling, elder brother Aashil Nair. She started her career with theatre in Bangalore, her home town. She moved to Mumbai in January 2006. Her big break came in the Yash Raj Film's Chak De India (2007), where she acts alongside Shahrukh Khan. She plays the role of naughty Aliya Bose, the right out of Indian national women's Hockey team. She is of half malyalee half parsee origin. Anaitha is known in south india for being a part of S5 a music band, she has also starred in a malayalam movie. Her next film out is Aashayein, directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, opposite John Abraham. Release April 2008.
