Description : Ramgopal Varma produced two back to back hits in the year 1995. The first was Gulabi and the second Anaganaga Oka Roju. JD Chakravarthy is the lead actor in both. Varma also directed this film that stars the ultra sensuous Urmila (Matondkar) as the leading lady. This film marks the beginning of Urmila's association whith Ram Gopal Varma and would later result in blockbusters like Rangeela and Satya. In fact with his wein hits Ram Gopal Varma had taken not only the Telugu film industry by storm, but also ventured into the impenetrable Hindi filmdom, in style. In doing so, Ram Gopal Varma also left behind a legacy of film makers and directors from his school who continue to be a force to reckon with, in the Tulugu Film industry till date. Once again with some memorable melodies and peppy numbers, this time by Music director Sri, Anaganaga Oka Roju is a cute run away love story that also off shoots as a comic thriller. Comedy King Brahmanandam does a hilarious cameo as Nelluru Peddi Reddy.
