Yet another initiative to defy all the boundaries and show the world that no war is bigger than the silence of peace has gone in vain. Set against the backdrop of Kickboxing Sport, the most critically acclaimed Indian film of this season, LAHORE which releases globally on 19th March, 2010, has been denied a release in Pakistan. The reason that the concerned authorities in Pakistan mention is the title of the film, which is being looked upon as creating hassles in the neighboring country. In addition also a thought that all the Indian Films show Pakistan in a negative way, is the another reason that the film did not get the permission to be released in Pakistan. Though the Director, Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan tried to take a step ahead in bringing down barriers and also taking a gutsy decision of naming his film to the city of Lahore, but now it all seems to be going against him.
